Registering for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) at EIU Language Center offers many conveniences, especially for students and independent candidates in the Bình Dương area.

Early announcement of exam schedules: As soon as the official schedule is released by the main organizing unit in Southern Vietnam, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, EIU Foreign Language Center promptly announces the information to all candidates.
Detailed guidance and updates: Candidates receive timely updates regarding any changes in required documents, exam schedules, and test locations from the official organizing institution.
Time and cost savings: Registering at FLC allows candidates to significantly save time and travel expenses, as they can submit applications and receive certificates locally instead of traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, where the main organizing unit is based.
Thorough application review and support: FLC staff carefully review all application documents to ensure accuracy and validity before submitting them to the main organizing unit, helping to minimize the risk of errors or incorrect information.

2. Tuition is always preferential

(1) Discount up to 15% of tuition fee for all students who enroll and pay tuition 4 days before the opening date.

(2) Discount up to 10% of tuition fee for all students who enroll and pay tuition 3 days before the opening date, up to and including the course start date.

(3) Discount up to 25% of tuition fee for all for Becamex Corporation staff, as well as EIU staff and students. (4) Additional incentive of VND 400,000 for each student in the following cases:

+ For students who have a sibling currently studying at the center.

+ For students who achieve the highest final course results in their class when registering for the next course.

Step 1: Placement test

Students need to contact the Center to register for a placement test. The test is held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. It includes reading, writing, and an oral interview with a foreign teacher. The test is designed to accurately assess your current Japanese proficiency level.

Depending on your proficiency level and learning goals, we will provide personalized consultation to help you select the most suitable Japanese course.

Step 3: Register

You can register for an upcoming course or one currently in session that matches your level. If no suitable class is available at the moment, you can register and wait for a new course to start. The Center will contact you as soon as it begins.

JLPT PREPARATION PROGRAM AT EIU FOREIGN LANGUAGE CENTER

The JLPT N4 Preparation Course at FLC is designed to comprehensively strengthen and enhance students’ Japanese skills, ensuring they achieve their N4 goal with optimal scores. This is a focused, intensive course dedicated specifically to N4 content and test-taking strategies.

Detailed Score Targets:

To pass the JLPT N4, students must meet the following requirements:

Total score: Above 90 points (out of a maximum of 180 points)
Language Knowledge (Vocabulary & Grammar) and Reading: Above 38 points (out of 120 points)
Listening: Above 19 points (out of 60 points)

FLC does not only aim for students to pass but also helps them build a strong foundation to exceed the minimum threshold, preparing them for higher JLPT levels in the future.

Course Focus:

The program provides comprehensive reinforcement of essential Japanese knowledge, including:

Systematic vocabulary development (approximately 1,500–2,000 words)
Mastery of 150–200 key grammar structures required for N4
Reading practice through short passages, announcements, and practical texts
Intensive listening training, with special support from native Japanese teachers to help students become familiar with natural intonation and speaking speed

To earn the JLPT N3 certificate, students must meet the following minimum score requirements:

Total Score: Over 95 (out of a maximum of 180 points).
Language Knowledge (Vocabulary/Grammar): Over 19 (out of 60 points).
Reading Comprehension: Over 19 (out of 60 points).
Listening Comprehension: Over 19 (out of 60 points).
